Be watchful, stand firm in your Faith, be courageous, be strong.
Let all you do be done in love.
-1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Official Announcement From the Diocese of Grand Island:

The Bishop has made the following appointments:

Rev. Matthew T. Nash, administrator of St. Theresa in Mitchell, St. Ann in Morrill and Sacred Heart in Lyman is assigned as pastor of St. Mary’s in Mullen, All Saints in Hyannis, and St. Thomas of Canterbury in Thedford.

Please pray for the Diocese, the wonderful faithful, and our parish priests!

On a personal note, I will deeply miss the amazing people in the Tri-Parish and am honored to be able to serve the good people in Mullen, Hyannis, and Thedford. Know of my prayers for all involved in these transitions. Together we can and will advance the Kingdom of God.

“And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel thus about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace…”
-Philippians 1:6-7a

Pax,
Fr. Matthew

Meetings:

As of Tuesday May 26th various pre-planning meetings are underway to ensure a smooth transition of pastoral care to the Tri-Parishes and to Christ the King. Once some of the various issues are sorted out and Fr. Mike is able to discern how to accommodate a changing schedule we will have a Tri-Parish Council meeting. From there formal announcements on how we intend to move forward will occur with all the parishes involved. Announcements have not occurred because we are trying to make sure everything is sorted out so there is no confusion. Thank you for your on going patience! We know it is not easy and we are all anxious to know more. We will release all that information ASAP.

In the mean time, until July 1st, the Tri-Parish Mass schedule will run as it had before. Sadly, health restrictions will prevent many of the social gatherings outside Mass and prayer from occurring, this includes many of the parish meals/donuts. If DHHS changes those regulations, we will let you know.

All CCD/RE Programs will run as normal in the fall, provided no other health restrictions or emergencies occur.
